MEET THE DIRECTOR

JOSEPH V. FRITZ

Joseph V. Fritz earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College, where he performed in many choral activities and opera roles at venues such as Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. He served as a Dana Intern with the Ithaca Children's Choir for a year before taking over a maternity replacement at Demarest Middle School. Mr. Fritz's goal is to develop our high school choral program to a superior level while creating an inclusive environment for creating and learning. He strives to nurture students' voices and provide them with the tools to perform with correct vocal technique, expression and ownership of their product.
